Acoustic and electric guitar lessons in Vinnytsia and online — for children from the age of 6 and for adults. We will help you start from zero and move to real playing fairly quickly: chords, strumming, fingerpicking and your favourite songs accompanied by your own singing.
Who guitar lessons are for
People often choose guitar because they want more than theory — they want to play songs they actually know, reasonably soon. Some come for themselves, some want a gentle musical start for their child, and some have been putting it off for years and finally decided to try.
- Complete beginners — starting from zero is normal, that is how most of our students arrive.
- Children from 6 — a simple, clear way in, without being buried in theory.
- Adults — for yourself, as a hobby, with no exams and no grades.
- Players who already know some basics — tighten up technique, learn harder parts, widen your repertoire.
What you will learn to do
The first few weeks decide whether a student keeps going. So we build the process around a sense of progress rather than around difficulty.
- position your hand and play the main chords without unnecessary tension;
- strum and fingerpick while keeping a steady rhythm;
- change chords without stopping the song;
- accompany your own singing;
- read tabs and work out favourite parts on your own.
Acoustic or electric
You can start from scratch on either. An acoustic is simpler at the beginning: pick it up and play, nothing else required. An electric is easier on the fingers and gets you that familiar live tone sooner, but you will need an amplifier. If you are unsure, the teacher will listen to you at the trial lesson and suggest where to start.
How the lessons work
The programme depends on age, level and goal. Some people just need to begin without being scared off; others want to get to practice faster. We ease you into it without pressure.

Who teaches
Guitar at SoloWay is taught by Yaroslav Kis — 10+ years of teaching, a graduate of the Vinnytsia College of Culture and Arts named after M. D. Leontovych — and Oleksii Puhach, who has played for 11+ years, won the Grand Prix at the ALFA FEST competition in Prague and is the vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the band GBERS. Prices
A trial lesson costs UAH 200 for 30 minutes. After that, individual lessons: 55 minutes — UAH 700 for a single lesson or UAH 2,400 for four lessons a month; 45 minutes — UAH 600 and 2,000; 30 minutes — UAH 400 and 1,400. Group lessons start at UAH 350 per person. Full price list on the Prices page.
Frequently asked questions
Can I start with no experience at all?
Yes. Most students start from zero. The first lessons cover posture, hand position and your first chords — without rushing.
What age do you take children from?
From 6. For a child what matters is hand size and attention span; that becomes clear at the trial lesson.
Do I need my own guitar?
For practice at home, yes — progress is slow without it. The teacher will tell you what to buy and what to look for, so you do not overpay for things you do not need.
Can I study online?
Yes, via Zoom. It works well: the teacher can see your hands and hear the sound, and you do not have to carry an instrument across town.
